National Blitz and Rapid as celebration for 50th Anniversary for the Ministry of Sports
The Chess Federation of Sri Lanka is organizing the National Rapid and Blitz Championships on 23rd and 24th of September 2017 as a part of Celebration for 50th Anniversary for the Ministry of Sports this year.
In rapid its, 15 + 10 seconds and in Blitz, it’s 3 + 2 seconds.
Event is open to any one.
Entry fee Rs. 500/ = for rated players and Rs. 1000/= for unrated in both. It’s 300/- and 600/= for one category.
Cash awards
Rs. 15000/-, 10,000/p- and 5,000/- in both Blitz and Rapid in bothe while 10,000/-, 5,000/- and 3,000/- in Blitz and Rapit Women.

    Since rapid tournament is scheduled on 23rd Blitz event should be on 24th. We haven’t got exact times.
